I watched this movie yesterday and now i'm going to give it a little review...
Yea, the all highly anticipated, widely acclaimed, over-publicised movie. Wow, but it isn't that fantastic after all. This can be justified by the points that i'm going to give.
The Main Plot: Ye Xiang Lun-Lu Xiao Yu relationship
Very sweet as deemed by many couples and all. Yes i do agree that this part is sweet; the way they hang out, the way they go home together, the way they skip classes. Isn't this all part of the high school relationship we all have been through when taking neo-prints with your "stead" can make you happy the whole day?
The Sub Plots:
Ye Xiang Lun-Qing Yi
ok i think this qing yi gal acted pretty well because she made me think she's a bitch before the secret is being reviewed. Of course, after the secret was revealed, we know she isn't in the wrong. This part can be further developed, like how much this gal's liking can change his feelings towards Yu and then track it back again..
Lun-Dad
well, he has an awesome dad. He's cool, hip, although a bit lame, but yeah..very concern about his kid.
The Love Concept
Playing the piano piece and it turns out to be a time machine. Oh-Em-Gee!! How could anyone think of this? For once, i still thought how great the secret was. Jay Chou said, those who already watch this movie, dun reveal the secret to your friends.. That's of course! If the secret is revealed, they probably don't wanna watch the show anymore.
On the Whole
A mere pass for the first singer-turn-director. There is room(s) for improvement..
